NIAGARA FALLS — Dorothy E. (Wilson) Srock, 91, entered into the arms of her Savior on July 18, 2011. She was born on August 11, 1919, and a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY, until moving to Talbott, TN, seven years ago. She was the daughter of the late William and Ellen Wilson. Dorothy attended local schools and at age 15, her mother died, leaving her as "Mother" to her younger sister and brother and also helper to her father in the family business, Wilson Carting and Storage. She married Charles H. Srock, who predeceased her in 2004. Dorothy was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church, Niagara Falls, and a member of True Life Church, Jefferson City, TN, where she was baptized on July 10th. She was a life member of TOPS Club at the Duke Senior Center.  In TN, she was active with The Edsel Auto Club and car shows. Her joy was her telephone to keep in touch daily with family and friends. She is survived by her four children, Ruth (William) Gibson of Lancaster, PA, Charles H. Srock, Jr. of Lewiston, NY, Kathleen (Michael) Reading of Talbott, TN, James (Linda) Srock of Talbott, TN; a brother, William (Cordilia deceased) Wilson of Niagara Falls, NY; and sister, Etta (Gerald deceased) Smith of Kenmore, NY; twelve grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, George (Violet) and Oscar (Margaret) Wilson. Friends may call on Friday, July 22nd from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Funeral will be on Saturday at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Jimmy Inman officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
