Beloved Mother, Grandmother Great Grandmother, Sister Left this world to be with the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the age of 82.A life-long Eastside resident. Antoinette was born on November 24, 1931 to Anton and Margaret Voeller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, and sister Mary Jane. She is survived by three sons Michael (Twila), Oakdale, William (Susan), Little Canada and James (Linda), St. Paul.
Toni is also survived by sister, Carole Kolb, grandchildren Katy Morlok, Brock Buesing, Brent Buesing, Dylan Buesing, step grandchildren Matthew Rohr, Melissa Brey, Chris Johnson and great-granddaughter Greta Morlok.
Toni married Donald Buesing (A company) on August 5, 1950.
She was an excellent homemaker and a strong, self-sacrificing wife, mother and grandma. She was a founding member and long-time volunteer at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She used her organizational and leadership skills to serve the International Institute of Minnesota in a number of volunteer capacities. She served on the board of directors for many years and two terms as president. She worked tirelessly to assist in the growth and success of the "Festival of Nations", the Institute's annual fundraiser. The family wishes to extend their thanks and appreciation to Home Instead CareGivers, the staff of the Day Away program and Memory Care Unit at Cerenity, Marian of St. Paul.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-8 pm Monday, September 29 at Maple Oaks Funeral Home 2585 Stillwater Rd. Maplewood.
A service to honor and celebrate the life of Antoinette will be held at Parish of the Blessed Sacrament, at the St. Thomas the Apostle site 2119 Stillwater Ave. St. Paul, at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 30, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
